Assistant Coach, Tennis Professional (10 years)
Rachel played division No. 1 college tennis and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations, minoring in kinesiology.
She played No. 5 and 6 singles and all three doubles positions before settling in at the No.1 spot as a freshman. Her sophomore season was cut short due to a knee injury. During her senior year, she was team captain for the SFA Ladyjacks tennis team and played No. 1 doubles. She was on the dean’s list five semesters with a GPA of 3.7 and was also named an ITA scholar athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
At Club Westside Rachel coaches Future Stars, QuickStart, Houston Tennis Academy, ACE, private lessons and more. She loves to work with players of all levels and is always positive no matter what the situation.
Rachel has worked for tennis academies including Rios Tennis Academy (Head Tennis Pro), PTC Juric Inc. (Tennis Pro, QuickStart Coordinator), Lost Forest Tennis Club (Assistant Head Tennis Pro).
