Assistant CoachMiguel was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where he began playing tennis on clay courts at the age of 7. Ranked Nationally as a junior in Peru, he moved to the United States in 1994 and played varsity tennis at Clements High School, winning back-to-back State Championships in 1995 & 1996.
In 2000 he started teaching tennis and currently has over 8 years of experience coaching children and adults at various levels.
Miguel is an active USTA Tournament and League pro. He holds and Associate degree in Arts from HCC and is a former Cougar at University of Houston. He is fluent in Spanish.
